Cleantech Inn

Who we are

History

In 2007 a 3-year regional project, Sweden Cleantech Incubators (SCTI) was started by Teknopol AB in the initiative of Region Skåne, with funding from the European Comission Regional Operational Programme for Skåne-Blekinge, Region Skåne and Innovationsbron (since 2013 part of ALMI). The project proved to be succesful and was extended in 2010 to a national project, working with cleantech startups from the entire country. Additional funding was added from Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth (Tillväxtverket), Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems (Vinnova) and Västra Götalandsregionen.

It was clear from an early stage that SCTI was a useful and successful project and a national variation of the concept was launched as Cleantech Inn Sweden in 2009.
