We welcome new members that have sustainable, high-tech innovations. Whether you are a university researcher or have a lab at home in your garage it does not matter. It is your business idea that we evaluate from both a sustainable perspective and its potential as a profitable investment. We work at the leading-edge of cleantech and that means your idea cannot be a refinement of an existing solution. It must be an original idea.

Every member of Cleantech Inn Sweden must have started a business built on a sustainable cleantech-innovation with a sustainable business idea that matches our definition of cleantech and a sustainable society.

To be a member of Cleantech Sweden a company must pass a screening test. The test, which includes a risk analysis, evaluates your company from a business and sustainability point of view. In the business evaluation we look at the business model, finances, implementation, market and technology. The sustainability screening process includes a SWOT analysis where we decide whether the innovation and technology satisfy our definition of cleantech, that is to say the idea is preventive, sustainable in the long-term and confronts the problems that separate today’s society from a sustainable society.

Using advice from us, members draw up and carefully follow a strategy that incorporates clear objectives and plans. No cleantech innovation can succeed without sustainable management. As a member of Cleantech Inn Sweden, we help you to make the contacts your company needs in order to develop your idea. Our contacts, the continuous screening of your company and our members’ results, are a hallmark of quality for your business.
